Options for treatment of varicose veins
Laser surgery forvaricose veins
In general anesthesia, the procedure is completely painless, in the local anesthesia, the patient only feels an injection for local anesthesia. During the closing of the varices by the laser, it is possible to feel the heat at the point of the laser beam. This can be solved by applying anesthesia directly to the damaged vein.
The great advantage is that this is a painless method and the risk of postoperative complications is scarce. After laser surgery, it is recommended to wear compression stockings for 2 weeks, patients can walk and perform normal work and exercise activities.
Sclerotherapy
The procedure for sclerotization of varicose veins may be performed on its own or as a complement to other methods. Sclerotization is used not only to remove small spider veins but also thicker branches and root varicose veins.
The story of our client Markéta
I felt more and more embarrassed for my legs, and people noticed that I refused to wear my shorts and get dressed in swimsuits at the swimming pool. That’s when I told myself, at just 28 years of age, I just had to do something about it. When I ran out of patience, I ordered a consultation at Primed Clinic, where I was explained by the doctor that varicose veins are hereditary in my case, but this problem can be solved easily and painlessly.
A short time later I underwent laser removal of varicose veins, it was finished in a few minutes. I’d been wearing compression stockings for a while, and now I have nice legs with no unsightly veins. I totally regret that I did not decide on this procedure much earlier.
And what about you? How long do you want to be bothered by the unsightly legs? Order a free consultation and resolve your problem just like Marketa!
Varicose veins surgery and postoperative care
A less intrusive procedure does not require any days off, during normal surgery of varicose veins mind a period of 4-8 weeks, during which you will have to stay in home care.
There are no further restrictions in the long-term after surgery, but keep in mind that venous insufficiency is a chronic illness and may return over time. It is therefore essential to follow basic health measures such as weight reduction and long-term stress on the limbs, exercise sufficiently and it is important to stop smoking.
